What we collect

FlourSwap collects only what is necessary to operate the site:

Email address: if you voluntarily subscribe to the newsletter. We use this only to send baking tips and product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Analytics data: we use Plausible Analytics and PostHog to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, time on site, general location by country). Plausible is a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service. PostHog is used for product analytics via a server-side proxy. Both services collect only anonymized, aggregated data. No personally identifiable information is collected.
Recipe inputs: if you use the Recipe Converter or Bread Diagnosis tools, the content you submit is processed to generate a result and is not stored or associated with you.

How we use it

Email: to send newsletters you opted into. Nothing else.
Analytics: to improve the tools and content on this site.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Plausible Analytics: privacy-friendly, cookieless website analytics. See Plausible's Data Policy.
PostHog: product analytics for improving our tools. See PostHog's Privacy Policy.
Resend: email delivery for newsletter subscribers. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
Image analysis: photos you upload to Bread Diagnosis are sent to a third-party image-analysis service to generate your result. They are used only for that request and are not stored by FlourSwap or used to identify you.
Amazon Associates: FlourSwap is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, FlourSwap earns from qualifying purchases. See Amazon Associates Operating Agreement.

Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies. Plausible Analytics is fully cookieless. PostHog uses localStorage for anonymous session tracking. No advertising cookies are set.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your email address at any time by unsubscribing from any newsletter email or by contacting us. We will remove your data within 30 days of a verified request.
